Katipunan-USA walkathon raises funds for Nene's airfare. More than 100 woodbridge high school students participate. volunteers and participants arrive from san jose, west covina, irvine, granada hills, glendale, and carson.

Paddy finalizes details with Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, meets with Dr. Konstantino Vlachonnassios, the surgeon, who will perform the initial surgery and Ms. Marsha Andersen, vice president, Marketing and Planning, there are several and big expenses, like anaesthesia, medicine, drugs, doctors, etc., involved, but they are willing to shoulder all once all the reports and information come in. Ms. Andersen assures Paddy, her hospital would do the best it could to help Nene.

The US Embassy granted a visa to Nene Lansangan. She will receive it within 5 days. Nene said the consular officer was tough and uncooperating even asking for a financial statement from the Cerritos Rotary Club.
